The knife:

Stock removal from 1/8 inch 52100
Heat treated in my Paragon furnace with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 with a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a mat finish, the flats are as they came from the steel mill
Stag handle
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 1/3 inches
The leather scabbard tied in the bag has a belt loop

The Bag:
Oiled leather
Sewn with modern thread; not period correct
Depth: 5-6 inches
Width: about 9 inches
I left a lot of excess leather on the straps and ties for someone to trim to their desire

I got one of these for myself and my brother. Very well done. I'm happy with mine and my brother loves his. He uses his much more than I do and it has held up to several hunting seasons in South Alabama.

I love it! If I had the money, I would. And that's a fantastic and unique package deal, very creative!
