Good Afternoon,

This is a special one I have been working on in between orders for about 9 months. The outdoor pictures are just before I sharpened the blade. I was running out of light outside and its really hard to get any decent pictures in the shop with how shiny it all is. I will update the blade and guard pictures tomorrow. I will also take a video of it and put it up on my instagram which is probably the best way to see the details.

This blade is made from 1/4" 1095 hand sanded with a stone finished hamon. It is full tang construction. This is tightest fit I have ever gotten on a guard. There are no gaps anywhere. The guard is interference fit as well so it was set in place with a drift and hammer. The guard is W2 heat treated and tempered back to 50rc with riveted copper accents. The pommel is wrought iron from a 100 year old ship chain over copper. This is held in place with 5 stainless pins that were pressed and expanded. Everything about it is rock solid. The handle is Macassar ebony that was hand sanded to 1500 grit.

The leather sheath is tooled and carved on both sides. The belt frog is ambidextrous with brass side panels.

I am planning on sending this one out for some professional pictures from Sharp by Coop so it will ship from him to the buyer once the pictures are done. I think that process is generally 2 weeks.

Price SOLD, shipping is included to continental United States via USPS. Preferred payment is via paypal.

The saying ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ is fitting for that knife. Reading your description was cool, but seeing the photos was ‘WOW’! The variety of designs you build is pretty amazing.

Thank you. Making new designs is really what has kept me interested in knifemaking all these years. Always something new to learn or try. Traditional japanese tantos are up next. I got some kata of original museum pieces from the 13th-15th century
