Thanks Jack, I appreciate your comments.

Ya I feel that I have really grown as a knifemaker this past year and have lots more I want to venture into knife making wise.

Thanks,
Sean

Very nice indeed sir,I was wondering what kind of heat treat(is it cryo tempered?)and also when you say 71/4 is that the cutting edge or from the hilt to tip?And also what is the blade width out of curiosity?Sorry for so many questions but I'm very interested.

Thanks for the comments.

The blade length of 7 1/4" is measured from the end of the scales, the length of the blade from the plunge line is pretty close to 6 1/2".

The heat treat was not done by me, the company guarantees the heat treat between 58 & 60Rc. Yes it was cryo tempered as well.

The blade width just after the choil area on the cutting edge side measures about 1 5/16" so just over 1 1/4" in width.

No problem at all on the questions, if you have more don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Sean

Hey Sean,
I love your work, I am just curious why you took the prices off your websight?

Thanks pep.

I had prices on my site a while back but took them off at a recommendation from another knifemaker. I am thinking about putting them back on though. Still thinking about this one.

Sean

Looks like this one is sold.

Thanks marsupial. Can't wait to hear how it does in the jungle!

Take Care,
Sean

Bear skinnin, fish fileting, panther on my ass stabbin, bad butt blade!Thankyou Mr O'hare, excellent blade and I am very pleased. This blade came razor sharp with a point exactly the way a blade should be very sharp and pointy, excellent for fine work yet tough enuff for full power thrusts. Thanks again!

Hey great to hear you are so happy with the knife! I'm sure it will serve you well.

Sorry for the late response, I was on holidays.

Take Care,
Sean

Your work is becoming more refined Sean. As the buyer of your first ever Glide (in 440c) and back when you made your own sheaths, it's your design flair that makes your knives stand out - beautiful work.

By the way, that original Glide is still one of my favourite knives - love it.

Hey Glenn!

Thanks for the compliments. Glad to hear you are still happy with your Glide knife. I've thought about emailing you many times to see how it was working out for you way down under but never did.

Thanks,
Sean

Sean, I only just tonight found this forum. I am so proud to have been the one you designed "The Pathfinder" prototype for...one of these days I hope to get to a show and set it down in front of you to see your reaction when you recognize its unique handle design...I couldn't make it to 'Vegas that year you were there and I can't stand Florida...maybe someday the Blade Show will get to Southern California.

Anyway, I hope you've sold a bushel basket full of Pathfinders. My best friend loves the one I bought him for Christmas the year before last, because he admired mine so much. I told my daughter to take care of Pathfinder #001 after I'm gone and keep it on her nightstand in case her .40 Sig ever jams in an emergency...Then to pass it along to her son or daughter when she is too old to lift it up. You and I will live forever in our family's annals.

Good luck, and thanks again my friend,

Dean... "The Pathfinder"
