Never seen that effect before - looks like camo - very cool.

The edge held up well. A quick go on a butcher's steel and it's shaving again.This is such a sexy blade... not sure why, just is.
How did the edge hold up? It has a relatively thin cross section about half a inch from the Apex for such a heavy blade.
