Patina recipy help for BK5

A patina can be done with anything acidic. Vinegar and mustard are the most popular IMO and potatoes also give a blueish tinge if I'm not mistaken.

Strip and use it. It will take on a nice grey patina. I find that I eat alot more apples when I have a new knife with carbon steel.

Dang! I've been contemplating starting the fixed blade collection thing and seeing these beauties is sure making it hard to keep prolonging!:love-struck:
You can also use a full covering of A-1 sauce as a base coat, and then drizzle on some spicy brown mustard afterwards to give it a nice tiger-stripe pattern.
