Photos Patina thread

This rosewood lambsfoot displays some patina:

This thing has lots of patina, mostly natural but you can see a little bit of fresh patina at the edge.
I stuck it in a potato for a bit to cover a sharpening mistake.


It doesn't necessarily take 100 years to get a patina like this, but the patina on this blade was definitely at least 100 years in the making.

It’s Saturday and I’m ready for some college football. After photo... shined up like a door knob to a brothel ( my after photo is above the before duh)
