Worst customer service ever. Waited 3 weeks just to get the wrong sheath and Sky will not return any messages .
 
waited 3 weeks just to get sent the wrong sheath. After Multiple attempts of trying to contact sky and almost 2 weeks later I've gotten no responses. Customer service is non existent and it's a shame because he makes a gorgeous product. Looks like I'm getting taken for a ride at the tune of $136 dollars .I don't like to put people on blast and never had to until now . The sheath is beautiful and well made but it's not what I paid for and does not fit the knife. This is also the second sheath I purchased from him and the fourth purchase all together. Never again.

Moved to the correct forum. Just a note about the holidays, communications can be difficult at best during this time of year. How long have you given him to answer?
 
That is very interesting, considering #1, I have never received any communication about an incorrect order and #2 what I have received was a Paypal non receipt claim filed 12-12 stating:

However you have just stated that you "Waited 3 weeks just to get the wrong sheath" and filed a non receipt claim exactly one day after it was delivered and state that we did not respond to any of your messages in the entire one day period you determined that we should be given. (Never mind that the Contact Form on the site states we return messages in 24-48 business hours.)

So, which is it? You either received the wrong product and filed a fraudulent Paypal claim citing non-delivery and attempting to get something (right or wrong) for nothing, or you didn't receive anything and are just here to....?

Since you wish to make two opposing statements I will be sure to attach this thread to the non receipt claim and forward it to Paypal's fraud complaint department, in fact I will go the extra mile for you to call it in.

There have been 11 threads about Patriot Leather started here in this sub-forum since 2010. Of those, only two have anything negative to say--this one and one from a year ago. As a company, you have 48 buyers of your product from BFC who have decided to give you positive feedback and none who have given you negative feedback. Additionally, not that I have read everything, but any mention of Patriot Leather outside of this sub-forum on this site that I have seen has been unequivocally positive.

I guess my point is that I have no idea where all the negativity is coming from, especially in a post you made on Christmas Day. I don't see anybody standing around with a pitchfork either, lying in wait to skewer someone involved in the next "less than perfect" transaction. I do not walk in your shoes, but as a vendor, I would think that you would take care not to lump the larger BFC membership in with one or two bad apples, which can be found anywhere these days. Of course, it's your business to do with as you please. I'm just offering my ignorant, unsolicited $.02 that you are free to do with as you please.
 
It's a shame dealers/vendors/makers have to patrol these boards regularly just to keep their name clear from these kind of "1-post lying mud-slingers". I'm sure there have always been thieves and scammers in the world since the dawn of time, but it still makes me shake my head.
 
I have had a couple transactions with Patriot Leather. My experiences have been very good. I had great communication and the products were outstanding. I'm sure if there was any issues, if given a chance they would have been remedied in a timely manner. FYI, Three weeks for a custom sheath is a incredibly quick turnaround time for a popular Craftsman.

No sir, I sent you multiple emails and can post them here to prove it because I saved them all.Even tried to contact you via your web page as well as face book with no response so I had no choice but to open a paypal claim which I won btw. This could have been easily resolved if you would have communicated with my about it. you had all my contact info and could have done so at anytime but you chose not to stand behind your mistake. Bottom line is you don't . Instead of working this out you come here and quote me for paypal to try and fight the case

weeks, he says he never gottoen any emails from me which is a lie, I have all emails sent to him saved. The dude won't own up to his mistakes and will ignore you if there is an issue. He had all my contact info and could have done so at anytime. I won the case and have been refunded.

All he had to do was contact me back and we could have worked this out but he ignored my emails so I had no choice but to take action. He says he never gotten any emails from me but I have them saved. Tried messing him through his web page as well with no response. Bottom line is he doesn't want to make good on his mistakes. He had all my contact info and could have tried to come to a resolution but instead he comes on here to quote me in order to try and fight the paypal claim which he lost btw. He make a nice product and this was my second sheath from him but if there is an issue he won't be a man about it.

you would have a problem to if you if you was sent the wrong thing and the maker won't respond to your emails. I have saved all my emails except the one sent directly through my account on his website which I had to way of saving that one. I also gave him plenty of time to respond . He had every opportunity to contact me even after I opened the paypal claim . He had all my contact info but instead he came here to quote me for paypal in hopes of fighting the dispute which he lost btw. So you can chalk it up to whatever you want .
 
Like I stated before buyer be ware. If there is an issue with your purchase Sky Storm will go silent and not stand behind it. He will ignore you emails(he has no phone for his business) Then come on here and lie about it. He had every chance to contact me . Even after i opened the paypal case he chose to come here and Quote me for paypal in hopes of fighting the claim instead of trying to work it out. I contacted him through his own webpage in which I have an account with no response. I tried facebook to get in touch with him with no response. I sent emails (which I saved) and got no response. He could have communicated with me here as well but he did not .
 
You have stated many times already that you won your PayPal claim, nobody is disputing that. However, it looks like what you won was a fraudulently filed claim. The sheath was wrong. You should have been refunded or had it exchanged, I agree with that. Filing a report that you never even received the item is super greasy regardless of circumstances. The PayPal claim info states you claimed you did not receive the item, but your posts here clearly state you did. If that is the case, that is fraud and theft. It is also mail fraud, which is a federal offence. Do you still have the sheath? If you were refunded, did not return the sheath, won a claim by stating you never got the sheath, then posted you did get the sheath, that’s mail fraud and is a serious crime.
 
If you order something and something else turns up you haven't received what you paid for . You didn't receive the item
Receiving a different product followed by no communication doesn't fulfil anything.
All of this could usually be sorted out through communication but it seems you tried that.
Get your money back by filing a claim and return the unordered item if the seller pays postage.
