Patriotic July knife challenge

Ssssoooort of. ;)

Though, really, if you're going to do some sort of patriotic, All-American knife thing, you might as well actually do it and not make exceptions because you like SAKs. :)

I like Taiwanese Spydercos and they (the Nationalist Chinese) were actual U.S. allies in WW2. :) The Japanese were our enemies during the war but allies ever since. The Italians were both enemies and allies in the war!

You get my drift.
Per what I stated in my original post of the challenge You have to carry an American made primary knife everyday for the month of July. if someone has a Vic classic on their keys I'm not going to have them take it off for the month, There are also some who always have some sort of Victorinox model paired with their primary edc knife. they probably depend the Saks functions such as screwdrivers or cap lifters so I'm not going to make them leave it at home especially of its been a constant for years. as long as you carry an American made knife as your primary edc for the month you are still in the challenge.

Easy. All of mine are made in America.
Then I guess you could just pick the most American knife you own.
If you got something with patriotic scales or have a knife that's so iconically American like the buck 110 or something then this would be a good one to choose.

I'll play along. I don't have a ton of choices but I will rock the Bucks (Vantage Pro S30V, 110), Case G10 Trapper, and my BM Barrage for the month.

Plus the Swiss are just nice folks. Wonderful chocolate, excellent wristwatches, cleverly designed and affordable pocket knives, neutrality during wartime. What's not to like?
The Swiss definitely got their hands dirty during the war. Don't kid yourself on that one.

I've been carrying a Golden Colorado blade for a while now. I don't think too many on this site will have to change their habits to do this. :)

I'm down for this. I'll try to carry a different USA made blade everyday and post pictures as often as possible!

July will be just like that rest of the year for me, EDC made in the USA and a SAK. Happy 4th everyone!

Not much of a challenge for me either. Been doing it everyday for many years. For the past three my carry folder has been one of these four.

I am Canadian and strive to buy almost exclusively USA made knives. I always try to buy as much as possible products from either the USA, Canada or Commonwealth (Australia, UK etc.) countries. It just makes me feel good.

I hope you all have a safe and happy Independence Day!

P.S. If you feel like supporting your northerly neighbours this weekend while we celebrate our 150th anniversary as a nation slip on a Tilley hat and slide a Grohmann Knife into your pocket. Canada Day is July 1st.

Hmmm.... always carry a SAK. To meet this challenge, I have to decide between a GEC slippie, Benchmade Barrage, ZT 0770CFT, or Spyderco Native 4. These are all knives I like and use from time to time. I'll downsize the SAK to a Bantam from my usual 105mm size so things are pocket friendly. Decisions Decisions.. curses....

I can do this challenge.
I've had a Carothers Field Knife on my side everyday for over 6 months so another one won't hurt.

I normally carry 'Merican made knives so this should not be a problem. I guess that my Buck 112 Ranger gets some belt time over the 4th of July weekend:)
