The billet was forged in my shop with 135 layers of 1084 and 15N20
Heat treating was done in my Evenheat furnace with 3 normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60
Cocoblo handle
Overall length: 13 1/4 inches
Blade: 8 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

This one is surely a knock out of the park...Beautiful work.
I have one of your shorter blades, and it's a keeper.
 
Hi, I think one of your dimensions listed is probably not correct. Assuming the handle is longer than 3"?
Beautiful knife - and seems like an awesome deal for someone wanting a special fillet knife.

Thank you, Gastonknife. That handle is at least 4 1/2 inches. /. I was in a hurry this morning. I will make the Change when I get home.

That handle design is perfect for keeping hold of the knife, comfy looking too. Very well done.
