Just finished this one. The blade (or the billet at least) is around a year old and so I forgot the layer count. Really interesting chatoyancy when its moved around in the light, like a figured wood or polished stone. Its totally zero ground and all the micro serrations from the random pattern, which I previously thought were a myth, make it really effective on veggies and herbs and things like that. The bolster and hand pounded rivet are copper and the grip is a piece of 200 yr old diver salvaged black oak from Lake Superior, similar to European black bog oak.
I didn't make a sheath because its a kitchen blade, but I could make one if the buyer is interested.
overall length- 9 1/4"
blade length-4 3/4"
$285+shipping
I prefer paypal, and my email is lukethebladesmith@yahoo.com. First to PM or email me gets it!
Thanks for looking!
