As I am learning about forge welding I have been experimenting with different patterns. This is my first attempt at creating a rose pattern which came out fine but the billet was too thin for a large knife. Thus this little light weight hunter.
Forged from 1095 and 15N20
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with a fine grain throughout the blade
Stabilized figured walnut handle
Overall length: 7 1/2 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

I can't believe this is still here! I bought the last damascus blade he put out and am very pleased with it! I've been carrying it ever since it arrived! Perfect geometry and balance, great sheath and cool to look at. Functional art! I'm trying to talk myself out of getting this one too!
