Steel: 1084/15n20. Twist pattern, about 150 layers. Hollow main bevel, flat ground tip.

Hardness: 58 RC

Blade length: 10-1/2"

Total length: 15-1/4"

Blade thickness: 5/16" at guard.

Handle material: Black resin soaked wrap over burgundy stingray skin.

Fittings: Pattern welded guard. This material was given to me by a customer awhile back, so I can't quite claim sole authorship for this knife. I think it was made by Alabama Damascus.

I wouldn't usually add a post here, but was compelled to in this case. I just received my new blade, and have to say... Phillip's work on this Tanto is truly impressive! I had been waiting for the right example of his craftsmanship to pull the trigger on, and now that I've seen it firsthand, my only response is WOW! What a stunner! He also built a new sheath for left-hand cross draw, and its quality matches that of the blade. This is one beautiful rig, BF! And built like a tank, as well. Highly recommend!
