I thought this would be a fun thread where you could share some knives/patterns you have always wanted to try but haven't because of lack of time, money(mostly me),or whatever. For me, it would be-
1. Peanut( I had one, but never really used it,now I want to try EDCing one)
2.Sodbuster
3.Opinel
4. any EZ open jack
5.Canoe
6.Rope knife ( single blade wharncliffe)
7.Sunfish/Elephants toe

How about you?
Thanks,
Cole

opinel, ez open bullet end jack, 2 spring whittler, stockman, ive had a texas jack but i really want to try gec's outlaw jack

Good thread.

I don't own an Opinel 6 because I have a Case Sodbuster JR.
I don't own a Case Sway Back because I have a Case Mini Copperhead (both have Wharncliffe blades).

If anyone thinks I'm wrong in my thinking, please feel free to post and tell me where I'm wrong. I'm always looking for excuses to buy more knives. ;)

"Always" is way longer than I've been thinking about any of this(!), but a recent and growing curiosity is the Eureka Jack.

I look and I look, but I can't figure out how the ergonomics of its handle "work."

Yet, I trust the reports of those who love 'em, including that their appeal in person (and in-hand) is far different than can be gained by pictures alone.

So, yeah-- Eureka Jack.

Elephant's Toenail, and the Toothpick. I want a larger, slender Case toothpick, but don't know what exactly I'd use it for.

Doc knife, Lumberjack/Toe/sunfish, case backpocket, tuxedo, Eisenhower, small stockman, large toothpick, opinel, fishing knife, melon tester, tiny/small trapper, copperlock.

I'm sure there are more but those are the ones off the top of my head.

The Gunstock design has been intriguing me for a while, the first slipjoint I designed was an elephants toenail (still not made), easy opener, and a muskrat (but would like two different blades on the muskrat).

Not sure if I would like it or not, but recently I've been curious about toothpicks.

In addition:

Cuban
Bullet End Jack
Moose

black mamba's--- Avatar knife.
black mamba I wish you would take your Avatar down it's killing me. LOL

Butterbean, Canoe, ez open anything, toothpicks, back pocket, camp/scout knife, sowbelly anything, and Moose. that was a mouthfull..... what if there was Canoe Moose knives? Canoose? i guess add that, since i want to try it now but it probably doesnt exist.... which is a reason to not get one :P.

Scout style and a large stockman. I've fallen hard for my Case medium stockman, but I've wanted a large stockman for a long while.

muskrat - soooo sexy!
swayback jack - actually have one but haven't carried it. They look like they were put together backwards!?
