What Bimmer1 said. Of what I've read the 'grip like a baseball bat' is the biggest complaint. But this is usually from custom sword enthusiasts for whom handling characteristics is paramount. For a brush beater it doesn't matter.
The several i handled all exhibited the same problem. The locking collar on the "tsuba" pulls the corresponding scabbard chape clean off the scabbard...it was just held on with glue.
