I would like to know what people think about this item, Is worth buying or is it just a wall hanger...

I am looking at buying one as a giant brush wacker ???? or is a waste of money.

I've heard that it is a pretty tough brush beater and not a wall hanger. The only general complaint seems to be the handle wrap configuration.

I've thought about picking one up myself.

What Bimmer1 said. Of what I've read the 'grip like a baseball bat' is the biggest complaint. But this is usually from custom sword enthusiasts for whom handling characteristics is paramount. For a brush beater it doesn't matter.

The several i handled all exhibited the same problem. The locking collar on the "tsuba" pulls the corresponding scabbard chape clean off the scabbard...it was just held on with glue.
