Paul knife (pics)

My dad bought an original Gerber Paul knife in the 70's, probably still has it. He showed me then and I loved the simplicity and elegant lines. No pics, though.

I only have one, and it's from the 1990s. Seems I've never taken a picture of it either. :(

I have a Presto and an Executive. Great dress knives, although that mechanism, while being terribly cool, is kinda finicky. Have to keep them very clean. Both of mine are Lone Wolf.

i have this nice little gerber folder in ivory micarta by some guy named 'Paul W. Poehlmann', blade is unmarked except for PAUL on the spine. grip is marked Model 2 PM on the back steel spacer, which has a solitary '3' on the inner side. the pivot is stamped U.S. PAT 3942249 on the right side (it's also a push-button to open it/unlock it, and raised stamped GERBER U.S.A. (twice) on the left, which is patterned so after the button is pushed, you can rotate with your thumb. got it over twenty-plus years ago. nice knife. still sharp as the day it was made. huge ss pivot. i think it might be worth a dollar or two :D. opens/closes smooth as glass.
took a photo a few min. ago.

I have 2 Paul's........Need to take a photo of them..........carl...........ps.Would be willing to trade them............

Paul was the inventor of the lock mechanism and worked with Gerber on the original version. Later there was a second modified version. After Gerber discontinued it the second time, Paul started the Lone Wolf company to make them and later several different versions of it and other designs as well. Now Benchmade owns the rights to all of Lone Wolf's line.
