I purchased a knife from Paul @CPE_Knives a couple of weeks ago, first off it's friggin awesome, and came with a sheath that is one of the finest pieces of leatherwork I've had the pleasure to encounter.

Fast forward to today, I nearly lost the knife when it slipped out of the sheath while I was bending over almost upside down trying to unhook a stubborn trailer. I emailed Paul to ask he offered kydex sheaths for his knives, he said he does and would make me one free of charge... Now that's standing behind a knife. I'm hoping he comes to his senses and let's me pay him for his trouble, because it isn't his fault that my career choice has led me to need a sheath with aggressive retention.

Not only is his work most excellent, he backs his stuff up after the sale, and is more than willing to share his knowledge with an amateur bladesmith as well...

Thanks Paul for the great experience.

Yeah he was great. That is a real beauty! My picture doesn't do mine justice... I definitely lack the acumen that lots of guys have here.

I love those mosaic pins!

Just received my second @CPE_Knives blade today (the wharnie on the top). This was a full on custom job that Paul built from a sketch I sent him. Gotta say I'm just as impressed this time around with his work! Awesome guy to deal with. A true standup member of this community.

I have 3 knives from Paul and can attest that he is an amazing knife maker, and he backs it up with great customer service. I love the knives he makes and Myself and my daughter carry ours almost every day.
