This started out as the black coated OD cord-wrapped version.
Blade Length - 3"
Blade Thickness - 0.25"
Overall Length - 9.25"
Weight - 11 oz.;
Material - INFI
Now:
Stripped and then honed to a beautiful convex grind by Sigguy. In my opinion a convex blade suits this size hatchet better than the factory v-grind. It is now a good knife and a hatchet as well. He also re-cord wrapped it with the style shown in OD green paracord. The factory single layer cord wrap was ok however it did not provide for a good grip.
The stripping job is very good however it is not a perfect finish. In order to do so, more INFI would have to be lost to grind a few dark areas and I opted to keep the 1/4" profile. So, this is a more than functional user and not a safe queen. The cordora sheath with plastic insert is original and never carried.
As soon as I got it back with the convex edge I hacked a few maple saplings, wiped it down with a Tuff Cloth and haven't handled it since. Today, I feather shaved a piece of xerox paper before I took the pics
$300 $275 $260 $245 now: sold shipped CONUS. Paypal or USPS MO same price. Sorry, no trades. And yes, you must be at least 18 years old.
