Picked up a couple today. The first one is a USA Imperial. It is my first one and I would like to know about how old it is and what pattern.

The next is a Case stainless I think its a Finn but again I dont know. It has some scratches and no sheath. I may use it for a fishing knife. I only have $23 in the pair.

The Imperial is a serpentine jack, made between '56 and '88 and has shell handles. They were very inexpensive work knives.
Case started using that stamp since '65, so I don't know. Has a black composition handle with a saber ground blade.

Oh my gosh, I need to go to my local pawn shop right now and see if they're hiding any traditionals from me... Is this your first time purchasing cutlery from a pawn shop or have you had other great hauls in the past? I really like that Imperial you got. Those white handles with that patina looks siiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkk . I feel like the pattern is a peanut, but I'm not very sure..

I have found several. I really don't consider myself a hard core collector, but I enjoy the old USA slipjoints. This same shop had plenty of other interesting knives but I really don't know what they are worth.

Pawn shops and antique stores seem to always have hidden gems like these, nice find.
