Pawn Shop Gift

You better do what the man said! And, be sure to pass it forward.*

* And no, this is not a plea for you to mail me that knife. :D

Knives that are gifted to me, like this one and ones my family and friends give me, I keep. The ones I like to pass along are ones I buy myself for others. It is a wonderful feeling to gift a knife to someone. My boy's, and my daughter, have several that I've given them. And, I've gifted a few to my friends. I like rewarding them with knives for good behavior, or a job well done. My youngest son has earned several.

The kiddo's are at the stage where they are learning to use knives properly, and take care of them properly. To them, they are just tools for cutting. They are not yet at the stage where they would appreciate the beauty in a collectible, or the differences between stainless and carbon blades. But, they're learning.

When my post count gets a bit higher here I think I have one that would be great to pass along here.:D

Ya gotta love that story. I would like to think the owner would fit in well with this group and I agree that the gifted knives are the most special ones.

Great story. Good to see there are still places you can go enjoy a conversation.

There is a Pawn shop that I bought about 8 different firearms from (two Bushmasters, one Colt AR, Stag Ar, Glock, Ruger etc....)

That place really won't give me the time of day. They act like they are doing a huge favor to even get a gun for you to look at.

Nice story. Hope the pawn shop doesn't go out of bidness acting like that?
Seriously, nice to know humans can be decent and customer service aint dead. WD

Great story - and a big  to the fellow running the little store. "Give him the business" whenever you can. ;)

WOW! It doesn't get any better than that. The clip blade really makes it.
