Pay it forward 2010

What, specifically, are you looking for?

Well, I had been carrying a Gerber Hinderer on my duty belt for work and some jackhole stole my belt. I am looking for something to fill that gap, rescue knife, until I can afford to replace mine. I can't carry the fixed blade at work because it would scare people.

Ok, not knife related but website related. I have two books I am gonna put up.

Building Dynamic Websites: Macromedia Studio MX 2004

Macromedia Studio MX 2004 Training From The Source

Both are in brand new condition. Perfect if you are a DIY web guy. I can ship both to one person or split them up. Together they are totally comprehensive and can get you very proficient in web design.

BTW, if you are a small business owner, new knife maker looking to save some cabbage, these will save you tons. Not sound like I am trying to dump them off on someone butt hey really helped me when I designed my company site a few years ago.

Doug...unfortunately the closest I come is a bright yellow Redpoitn I use for breaking down boxes in the freezer at work...not quite rescue knife material...get a cutting torch and mod that TDI.

No photos, but I also have the factory sheath for a CRKT Stiff KISS and Kabar TDI (the model shown below)...

I have a couple of flashlights to offer up:

Here's the first:

http://www.dorcy.com/products.aspx?p=414285

Here's the next(I think, looks similar):

http://www.dorcy.com/products.aspx?p=414275

Here's the third:

http://camonow.com/product.asp?id=183&id1=39&id2=4&desc=Camping and Hunting&subdesc=Flashlights/Accessories&subdesc1=Angle Head Flashlight (Mini)

All three work, I just don't need them and I am working on clearing up some clutter. The Dorcy lights are pretty bright and compact. The Angle-Head light comes with all the accessory lenses in the base.

I also have one of these:

523858

It's around 4"x6". I use one as a psuedo-FAK.

Also have an unused Meyerco Necklance River Rescue knife. It's the bottom one in the photo. Sheath comes with it...

Is that rescue knife on the bottom still available?
I have been waiting to grab something since I gave away a tactiacl wallet a couple of years ago, hope I am still eligible for grabbing something. I probably have some other stuff too, gotta look around.

I'm not sure I understand how this process is supposed to work. Is the idea for the person receiving an item supposed to give something to the person who gave him something (i.e. trade) or is a recipient supposed to put something up for grabs to anyone?

I thought I understood after reading Joe's post quotng the original thread, but now I'm not sure.

everything put up is free to the first person to contact the owner.
you do not have to send them anything back but you should put somthing else up for grabs in the thread.

Yes, it's still available. E-mail me your information and I'll box it up.

Ok, putting this up, about a year ago I bought 5 pieces of hardwood from a member to use as knife scales. I am putting up one of those blocks. No pics. It is a surprise. Brownish in color with kind of a reddish quality to it...unless my lighting sucks. It just needs to be butterflied.
