Pay it Forward 2011

And here is Michael Rader's PiF contribution. Funds from the sale of this knife went to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

I'll keep posting pictures as they trickle in. There may still be a few knives nearing completion which I hope we'll see soon.

My PiF knife is severely lagging, partly because I injured my wrists and it's hard to spend much time doing handwork before it starts to hurt to much. But, I'm still doing what I can to finish it off and I'm getting closer.

I am the proud new owner of this beauty and couldn't be happier as I am sure the wounded warrior foundation is too. thanks to Michael Rader for your time and effort and to Lorien for organizing this.

I hope this project generated much needed funds to the selected charities.

More pics to come, I commissioned Michael to make me a stand instead of a sheath.

O Thats good to hear Mike I was hoping I might get to handle this knife hint hint. what a fine way to show some love.

I'm stoked for you Mike, and glad for the benefits paid forward to others through this project.
Thanks a lot for posting this! You totally made my day : )

Thanks Guys. Mike, I appreciate having you work with me on this piece. Thanks Roger, I don't make many daggers, so this project was a real nice break from all those kitchen knives. When I get the "sword-in-the-stone" style display stand made up, I'll post a few more pics. -M

glad to be involved in this Lorien, least I could do to pay you back for the nice article and my pic in Blade Mag from the Jason Knight class!...not to mention a reason to donate to a great cause.

Mike
