Well yes, but I don't think anyone here wants to see someone gift away all that they have, especially if you can sell the stuff and get the money to buy what you really want.
 
Sorry to interrupt, but the pay it forward idea IS the idea to give away what you want to pass to someone else, even if it is all you have. Karma works for those who give the most.

If it makes you feel good, do it. I gave away plenty in a past life of PIF that I could have sold and maybe should have by financial needs, but I felt better gifting it to someone who would love it.

Follow your heart and gut. And don't discourage someone from doing what makes them the happiest.
 
Alright so are we moving on to Pay It Forward Revolution Number 9?

There was some talk of me starting a new thread, but if i do I'll need to do it soon as I'm about to be without internet for a few hours. If anyone has any PIF's they've been waiting to post get em ready. I'm pretty much plumb out but I'll weigh things and see what I can put up.

Yeah I agree on this. You don't want to do something you will regret in the hopes that someone might (just might) offer an expensive knife you like, and that you may (just may) be the one to claim it.

I say start it up, Cereal_kiiller agreed to let this on go to 1,500 and voila we got there in a day

You seem like you are trying to do it all right. Good job on that. Get what they are worth so you can get a nice folder!
 
I agree with Jim and with everyone else. In a sense RedLynx did PIF through his generous offer and everyone else paid forward their frank advice. Think on it Red and if you decide to PIF those items do it on the next thread. Or are we staying with the OCHO now that its buzzing again?
