You can do a search for other Pay It Forward threads. Its rather simple.
Someone puts up a knife that they will give away for free. The winner of the knife is either decided by a random number (using the post number) or a contest can be had. A closest to the pin if you will.

The winner gets the knife but then has to offer up a knife in another Pay-it-forward. It can be the same knife if the winner isn't pleased with it or another knife of his/her choice. Preferably something traditional as this is the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades forum.

From what I understand, it doesn't have to be of any certain value. It doesn't even have to be new. Just something nice. That said, use common sense. If you win a nice Case, don't pay it forward with a Taylor brand chinese knife. You won't make any friends that way :p .

Good luck to all and, Randy, please disregard this post number when it comes time to draw a winner. Two posts is a no-no but I thought I'd explain to those that might not know how this is played.
