Thanks for the chance. I have won some GA's, but I've done a bunch, too so I only feel a little greedy. That knife is just so pretty. And I don't have anything like it (maker or style).

Since this giveaway thread seems to have pretty much run its course, I'll let it go through Monday and have my wife pick the winning number out of a hat that evening.
 
Please count me in as well. I've been wanting to try out an A.G. Russell knife, this bone looks fantastic and I'm a fan of the 12C27 Sandvik steel. I also promise to honor the spirit of this giveaway by hosting another.

I would like to see this catch on and I have a few nice pieces in mind to "forward" if I win.

There is no knife content, but I have a photo of a North Georgia mountain stream in late fall I will post:

That is a gorgeous knife. I've already been on the A.G, Russell site trying to decide what one of these I would like to buy.

Great giveaway. I refrained, because I have already received a GEC Yellow rose from another member to get me hooked!

The AG Russel slip-joints and lock backs made in China seem to just look Stellar! If we can get more of the US companies to get that level of fit and finish, there would be even more of a Renaissance in traditionals here!

Seems like price wise, some of the Domestic stuff is right on par with the imports from China. Seems like if they could just get a better fit and finish, and save the shipping/import expense, they could really compete!
 
Congrats to Duncan (for basically starting the whole thing, voluntarily or not), to Rick (for his generosity - I really like the AG RUssell knife), and to Tahts-a-dats-ago (for his luck!).
It's nice to consider this as a start of a long line of giveaway's between the gentlemen that make this forum great with their passion for knives.

Wow. That is awesome Rick. Sorry about the late reply: my wife and I were on vacation and we just got back. I've replied to your email, but certainly do understand if you've chosen a different winner. I will be doing a pay it forward contest in your honor - regardless of whether you've chosen a different winner (or not). Now I just need to figure out which knife will be the prize.
