These Alox Victorinox knives are awesome. I carry an Alox Cadet everyday alongside my modern folder and actually use the Cadet more. This will make a good knife for someone. Nice offering there Arrowhd. Make sure it goes to someone worthy who is here for the right reasons my friend.

That's good to hear Joe! If it wasn't for tracking, up wouldn't know the two gec`s I gave made it to either destination.. and I haven't really seen them back on to pif.. I'm sure they appreciate everything, but it's good to hear back from fellow members.. that's my favorite thing about this place, the people, and the friendships that are made. A great forum.

That's really too bad. If someone gave me a GEC I don't think I'd be able to stop talking about it. :D

After reading this I went back to ck. And I noticed I did not properly thank you after our initial email. I feel like a heel. This is truly out of character for me. I'm sorry. And Thank you i really do love the Bullnose. But I have put up three knives for gaw on this thread although only one has been claimed to date.

I've already gained the good feeling of giving knives away to those who wanted them, a public thanking is not required not expected as that wasn't the reason for giving in the first place. I still did get thanks from those who I sent knives to, which was a nice bonus in my opinion.

This thread is a big hit for a good reason, generosity abounds even if it isn't reciprocated 100% of the time it's still there and that's what counts. :)

The members I gave to have thanked me and kept in touch by e mail. Extremely thankful for this!!
You're also right......just knowing you gave and put a smile on someone's face is enough.

Many people feel that the Farmer is the best of the Alox series. It really is a fine knife. Someone is going to love this.

Well, I'm sorry but many people really do feel that it is the best Alox that Victorinox makes. You should jump on it!

I would jump on the Farmer but I have a used Pioneer coming as my PIF prize. Come to think of it, the Pioneer should be here soon.

That's what it's about, community. Bladeforums camaraderie and love. There aren't many places like this, that's why so many of us stick around for years.
