Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

Sorry, all but the Ka-Bar have been claimed. I need to edit that post to reflect as much.

Don't feel like you need to update me as you use the knife, it's no concern of mine whether you use it or not. I'm glad to hear it's getting used, though, and liked as well. It's a killer knife that's hard to not use (which is why I felt the need to give it to someone who would actually use it as I wasn't)

Glad to hear it, another great design that I just wasn't using, glad it is already seeing use.

You had quote the becker family going for a bit there but now they're all grown up and moved out. Just hope you taught them right and hope for the occasional letter.

Thanks for the generosity though.

Beckers, ZT, Spyderco, Benchmade... this has been a crazy generous thread.

So an update on the leek I got from bruised. The next month or so it will be put through the ringer. This is truck 5 out of about 10 of furniture that needs to be unboxed and put together.

So far, after cutting plastic bands it has surpassed all but the box cutters in sharpness, even my recently received benchmade from sharpening. I love it

Well it's taken me a while, but now it's my turn. I received a beautiful Boker Bullpup from one of you at a time when I needed a little good news in my life. You know who you are and I appreciate it more than you realize. I have a like new condition Victorinox Alox Farmer up for grabs. My only condition is that you do not sell it if you decide to part with it. Just give it to someone else. Claim it here and shoot me a PM. Keep up the good work folks. I'll post some more things at a later date.

I received this knife and carried it for the past couple days. The tools are handy, and it makes an excellent pairing with my primary EDC knife. Right now, that's an Emerson Vindicator.

Very cool. Thank you again, Arrow!

Have you used the saw yet? I've always been amazed by how well they perform.

Sounds good to me! PM me and we'll get shipping set up.

I got the knives yesterday, including one I wasn't expecting. Elgin rocks!

Mystery Damascus with bone handle

Mossberg with Micarta scales that I thought was going to be too big, but actually isn't, and is super light to boot, especially compared to Mr Damascus and Bone up there.

And the Li'l Winchester o' Surprise

I look forward to putting 'em all to good use. Thank you so much. :)

I have not!! I plan to on my next camping trip, which will be in a month or two (I volunteer with the Cub Scouts, so I camp a lot during their school year!). I am looking forward to it. I think the Farmer has to be my favorite SAK design. I have a Cadet I carried for a long time, that this Farmer from Arrow* has retired to my camera bag. Everything about the Cadet was awesome, it was just very small and thin (which I realize many folks will consider advantages LOL). The Farmer makes up for it with a size that fits better in my hand, as well as it being overall more robust. My coworker's desk lock was acting up on her again, I used the large flathead as a makeshift prybar today and popped the drawer open with no issues.

Man, it's a great time to be a knife guy!

*Again, Arrow, thank you VERY much, my friend!

Hey, I got something today too!

Thanks a lot for this little barlow Keith. I really like it and so does Eddie. We're pretty sure he's half beagle and half Yoda.

Good looking pup there, man. Nice score from a great member there, too! Those Barlows, I've seen multiple "Charlows" (I think they're called) come up for sale in the Traditional section on the Exchange, and always think how nice one of those would be if they were bigger, say with a three and a half inch blade? In Great Eastern's 1050? That would definitely grab my attention.

Again, Arrow, thank you VERY much, my friend!

My pleasure. I'm glad it's being put to use. I carry a Pioneer from time to time myself. The farmer just wasn't getting any pocket time. These knives are MADE to be used.

Agreed! I should have a new bundle of paracord tomorrow in a nice snappy purple, so I can make a lanyard for it. That ring is awful lonely! :D

Cool Barlow, what make is it ?
Nice dog too, it's great to have such a friendly best friend.

I have three critters of the sort running around. He's the old fart of the bunch.

The Barlow is an Anvil brand I believe. It has a very "industrial era" feel about it. The red scales are some sort of fairly soft synthetic, the bolsters are stamped and affixed with tabs that appear to be welded to the liners.

It feels cheap, but from a time when cheap was done very well. Kind of reminds me of a Bill DeShivs Leverletto. All just stamped and bent, scales don't fit, yet somehow special. Cool little knife.

It was my pleasure! Glad to see they'll get some use.

These two are still available.
Kershaw Black Horse 2
CRKTs version of the A.G. Russel Sting (double edged)

If you have something that is not claimed, post it back up. See if there is any renewed interest.

Aye, everything but the Micra is still available from the Colorado lot. Kershaw Shuffle, Opinel No.10, Snap-on Frame lock, Fossil Watch...
There's also a Kershaw Chive, an SAK and a Japanese lockback of some sort that haven't been posted yet.

I'll get pics up this evening.

I'd like the snap on(if that's OK). Put it in my tool kit with its siblings

If the SAK is a full sized model, I would like to take it to pass on to my friend who wants a knife to EDC but has no disposable income.
Best way to contact me is petewk1@gmail.com
