Very Nice Mike, you put a lot of heart and sweat into that rig! Someone is going to be happy... Good luck on your First BF sale.

Thanks for the kind comments guys! I had a lot of fun making this knife!

Boy that,s a lot of knife for that price.

Thanks! I want to give back to our community. I love helping people out and this build gives me that opprotunity.

Thanks for looking

Hi Mike very nice knife.
What is the pattern in the blade? Is it carved or machined hot hammered in or something else?
Could you post a closeup please I would love to see in more detail.
Thanks

Mike, I dig your cause, your knife looks awesome, and that is one hell of a good price!
Someone had better snatch this one up quick!

The design is carved into the blade, the damascus pattern continues into and through the carving. I will definatley post a close up of it, but i will not be able to until later tonight when i get home from work. And thanks Lorien! I appreciate all the hard work you put into the PIF build. You did an amazing job with it.

Thanks :)
Mike

Ok here is a close up of the carving. I did it after i hardened the blade...Could be a touch cleaner, but it was real tough to pull off lol. I don't think it is too bad for my first time doing it.

Wow that carving is outstanding! I like how it all flows together and the sheath matches, that is one nice combo.

I am unsure about the "Pattern" of which you ask. If it is the damascus pattern it is a ladder pattern. If it is the design, it is carved...
Thanks
Mike

Thanks very much for the close up Sir awesome piece of steel.
I really like the handle shape and grain pattern in the finger groove area works well with the knife.
I would call it a work of art that cuts as a bonus.
Decisions-decisions.....

If you look at the Pay It Forward sticky over on the Shoptalk area, there is a small WIP on this knife also. Shows step by step the making and fitting of the guard and handle. A lot more pics of this over there

Thanks for the kind words
Mike
