I am not computer literate, all I know is my machine is dead as it Hails from the stone ages with only 512mb total of OLD ram

Perhaps you can email me and tell me if this is something I could use

Are you sure it's your RAM that died? With the computer off, open the case and look at the memory module to see what it says on the side (if possible). PM me with the symptoms it had before dying and what exactly happened when it died (anything pop up on the screen before going black?). We might be able to figure it out.

Hmm, a pif of computer help...

... Why not!

Hi all, my machine isn't dead dead, I just meant that it's dragging death behind it; very old, very slow; likes to Jam and Doesnt like to run processes, it likes to max out memory

Did you get my email and if so, did you check out what make/model and/or ram it already has in it?

I have not forgotten the Pay It Forward thread.
I've been very busy, work, Christmas shopping, and other things that have come up.
And update:
Mykel made me a very generous offer to make me a Kydex sheath as a PIF for the BK-11.
I was taking him up on his offer, but really was starting to wonder if I was ever going to use the BK-11 in my urban setting and at my retail job.
A friend of mine and I set up a trade deal and were even as could be. He showed interest in a BK-11 and I saw an opportunity to throw in a little "Extra" so it would go to someone who could and would really use it.
So we made our trade and I threw in the Becker as a little extra for him because I knew he would use it.

I know I didn't PIF the BK-11 here, but I feel like I did so outside of the forum. =] I hope that's not a bad thing.

Also, OutdoorsFamilyMan4 - I know you are patiently waiting for that Leatherman Kick for your sister and I am going to try my hardest to have it out tomorrow as little things have come up and I've been extremely busy. However, you will get it before Christmas and I will try and have it out tomorrow.
I promise it's coming, it's just some little unexpected things came up and I've been super busy with work and Christmas and everything else.
I'm so sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.

I just wanted to drop by and give a little update. =]

!!! Thank You !!!....Update.....

Thank You..... ND36...the CS War Head made it & I LOVE it !! This thing will be perfect for hunting hogs when I make it to Texas ! Until the it has found its way in which ever bag I'm taking that day.

Thank You....BC777...the killer lanyard you sent me found a permanent home on my woods knife !

On the contrary, that is a great thing. Spreading the "field" of blessings is never a bad thing. In fact, the more you look around and listen, there are opportunities to bless folk everywhere.

Upgrading RAM may help, but odds are, your hard drive is dying, not your RAM.
Also, if you are running Windows XP, turn off automatic updates; it's useless at this point in time.

Thanks Stvporciau & Spydercobenchmadekai for considering my request. The reason I've asked for this a bit unusual request is that a) I do not like shopping online (never have done so, and until recently I didn't even have credit card to buy with anyway... and I don't recall ever buying anything by credit card or anything like that- I've dealt with cash only), and b) I'd have to buy from two online shops, and they seem to charge quite steeply for international shipping, which would add up to almost the price of knives themselves- so I figured buying them in US and shipping them together would be much cheaper...

Youd be surprised at what overseas shipping cost here in the US :D

If you'd like to wait ttill after Xmas, in the case of things like the svord peasant, maybe you can but the knife and I can pay for shipping or something like that

PIF #5 for me , amazing how many treasures another can use.

Who really needs a like new Leatherman Wingman ? Or does anybody live near the leatherman factory that needs a leatherman wingman? I do use it alot, but im keeping my eye out for other items here.

It is like new. And awesome with the scissors that are attached. Only issue is the blade came rubbing against the liner. I attempted to just ever so slightly bend it over with light pressure to fix that and the blade snapped off!
I contacted them and its an easy fix and they were understanding kind of. LOL.
This has a pocket clip on it, therefore no sheath.
