Good luck wolf, a few of us here are machineists (NCCNC and myself). Its quite the accomplishment when your first piece comes off the table and passes QC.

The one with white stitching is just so I could see what I was doing (it was the first one I did). In case anyone's wondering the lights are (L->R) Zebralight SC600W, Fenix E21 (with emitter & driver upgrade), Foursevens Quark pro QP2L-X burst mode (which was given to me pre-release by foursevens!)

All sewed by me on my wife's 1969 singer. The stitch up the middle is cause its 2 pieces of seatbelt sewed together. The para-cord belt is also made by me, its non adjustible so if I get fat I'll have to remake it lol.

That's pretty cool! No problems with the stitching coming apart? From the seatbelt fabic I mean.

Just kidding Monofletch, i hunt too and long ago switched to compound bows. Stabilizers, mechanical releases, rangefinders, you name it if i can "cheat" i do. I sometimes look forward to the relative simplicity of rifle season and having to carry less crap with me :)

The seatbelt fraying? I melt the ends to prevent that. My only concern was the middle stitch (where I sewed the 2 strips together) I'm very very hard on my gear and they've held up great. Its extremely overbuilt IMO, I've pulled on them and tried to rip them but they hold up to everything I do.

Fraying... :o That was what I was getting at. They look good. :thumbup: they remind me of the holders that come with the Mini Maglite.

That's it, i am going to order one right now. Most recommend a number 8 i believe. Just HAVE to satisfy my curiosity

Will be giving these out as a pair 1 large 1 small per person for the first 15 people who give me a good reason they need them.
