Pay it Forward - The Remake: Part 3

Just wanted to thank Chewy1 for the package that I received yesterday! Paying another one forward. This time a CRKT Drifter with metal scales. It was very sentimental to me and my first EDC blade purchase ever. Would like to give it to someone who has given but hasn't taken yet or who has paid it tons forward but not asked for too much back. Blade has scratches from lots of use and I reprofiled the blade so that the recurve is flatter.

It makes an excellent compact EDC or possibly a first one hander for a young person. Let me know.

I have been up for hours! 5am regardless if I have too work or not. It is a sad sickness.

but seriously, I could not have done it without your help. And to be truthful, it made me feel very good to do it. So much so, that I might consider it a selfish act. You swooped in from out of nowhere to just fork over money to some unproven random dude who may or may not even have had a bike to give. You gave in a very selfless way and let your heart do your thinking. You freaking rock!! Go get yourself a back-patting-before-lunch-beer, you deserve some special treatment! And thanks again.

Both of you guys ROCK and deserve major recognition!!

When i called the bike shop to ask about having it assembled the man asked me what kind of bike it is, I told him i dont know much about bikes except for they beat walking LMAO but i told him it said Kona on it, then his voice sounded more excited and he said. "Man you got yourself a great bike there! You must know SOMETHING about bikes to get one like this" And I said I do know something, i know of a great place to hang out with genuinely caring people.

Again thank you guys very much, ill post more pictures as soon as she is on 2 wheels!!
 
Worldwood maybe I shouldn't out the value of the bike but the one that you have as a hardtail if it were a 2013 model fully outfitted would go for 600 to 800 depending on components. Its one of the elite brands out there that took the world by storm maybe 20 years ago and still today. Their carbon fiber bikes go for 3 grand and up.

Yes NYO, you sent it to me. I just checked my mail yesterday and today im cleaning it up for the wife. While I wouldn't say she is excited (dern non-knifers) she did say she would carry it, which is no small victory as she took one look at the cryo worldwood sent and summarily dismissed it as an option (dern non-knifers). It is going to replace a smaller rainbow scallion I got for her but she had lost it during the course of some day where she had to use it more than once! She was sad for losing it and like I said, she is not excited but then again I don't get excited when she makes me get new shoes even if i do wear them everyday......
So, thanks a lot NYO! It makes me feel safer knowing she is a tiny bit more well equipped.
