  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I got a good deal on a few of these neat knives. It is made by Survival Kits International (I have never heard of them). It is an carbon steel Ontario kitchen knife blade with a flat(ish) grind all the way to the edge. The edges typically need a little work and the back edge is sharpened so it may not be legal to own everywhere - please check your local laws before calling dibs.

got any more that you would like to spare?

I can't remember who posted the thread, but somebody made a neat convex field sharpening kit with some strips of sandpaper and mousepad. I just made one for myself and have the sandpaper and mousepad pieces left over for 4 more kits. My Walmart only had 400, 1000, and 2000. If you want more, you'll have to add it. I also don't have any more Altoids tins, so you'll have to supply your own. However, if anybody would like the paper and pad pieces for a kit, shoot me a PM.

Snow, I received the sharpening kit materials yesterday. Thanks again:thumbup:

I have a Gerber folding saw that I could send to a new home. It's been around a while but still sharp and works pretty good. It has a nylon sheath.
