Not purely outdoorsy, but useful - up for grabs:

Olympus 1.3 megapixel digital camera. Runs on AA batteries & uses Smartmedia card (included) - I may still have a card reader for it as well, if so, that's included, too. (taken - heading to LeeCQC)

I also have several bundles of 400lb mil-spec parachute cord (it's essentially the same as 550 cord, but has 4 inner strands, rather than 7) - I have several bundles - each contains (3) 15' lengths of cord - these were taken from retired military parachutes.

I have several parachute risers - these are 2" wide heavy nylon webbing with all the hardware still attached. Total length (if all hardware removed) would be about 4.5 feet.

ill take some para cord if available

thanks

atakach; I'd like the sheath if it's still available.

I still have items left from previous posts...
1. Three-color desert camouflage flack jacket cover, size medium. This is the cover only; not the flack jacket. Used.
2. Fixed blade knife made from the blade of a Flip-It knife. Really low-quality, made by me as my first attempt at a knife. It would make a good letter opener, but not much else.
3. Victorinox Classic SD in emerald (translucent green), new, no box.
4. Used Wendy's hamburger, found on the sidewalk. (No, just seeing who was paying attention.)
5. Used size 11 military-issue lightweight black jump boots. The right boot has some tearing, but is still serviceable. Plenty of use left in them, no foot funk or weird foot diseases, original laces included.
6. Three-color desert camouflage BDU jacket, size medium. Used.

listen i haven't got the sheath out yet been real busy, but i'll make it up by sending ya 2 sheaths.

got pics of the riser hardware?

^ its yours my fellow BF member!

email me your mailing address, takes about 1 - 2 weeks from canada to the USA.

:thumbup::cool:

EDIT: i put in some canadian souveniers for ya! :)

Got the tin today and man, you are awesome. Thanks for the goodies. I've been drooling over those figure-9's everytime I go in the hardware store but just hadn't taken the plunge. Those are great. Also now have my first spy capsule. Gonna go on the keychain with some PJCB along with my BSA hotspark.

Question - what kind of green cord is that? That stuff is great. Seems very strong. I love that it's a bit rough, will grab and hold well plus it's small so you can keep a nice sized bundle with you. I love paracord but it's bulky for small survival kits and such.

Also, had never seen a tooney (sp?) like that one. Very cool.

Thanks again.

Charlie

AH RIGHT ON! glad you like the loot! . The cord is 2mm 3 strand x 5 stram hemp (i think) cord, treated with OD dye and some other chemical. VERY Strong cord. I get it in spools of 1000 feet occassionally. works grat for stringing up a tarp ridge line or for lashing stuff. Also worlks great for whipping rope ends or tool handles.

:)

whats toonies??? or is this some kinda inside joke between all you veterans to this thread.

Could be the Canadian two dollar coin?

Yep. Canadian $2 coin. The $1 coin has a Loon in it and was nick-named the "Loonie". What better name for the $2 coin than a Toonie (two-nie).

So the Canadians have Loonies and Toonies. Get it? Loony Tunes? :p

atakach; no problem, I've been busy as is LOL.

If there are any Canadian $2 coins left, I'd like one for my wife's coin collection.

Hi Andrew, the Toonie is slang for our Canadian $2 coin. we also have Loonies, which are our $1 coin (they have a loon on them)
