Got that little blade, Simon. It's handy as a pocket on a shirt! :D I dont know about marking stuff, but it's one hell of a box cutter and mail opener! Good work, bro.
 
lee, thanks. i was thinking about the possibilities of a slim kydex sheath to keep it on a key ring or something, but it occured to me that the kydex would cost 5 times as much as the materials for the knife...

for anyone interested, i have seven similar blades, but these are just cut off...no point ground in. so they somewhat resemble tiny fixed blade straight razors. i would put up a photo but for some reason my camera decided to give up the ghost this morning...

Well, if it helps, I just posted a pic of the one I got.
 
heh whoops i made a mistake...

the seven blades i have are made from hacksaws, with blades around 1.5" long...

i confused leeCQC with AJCZ farther up the thread.
 
siguy, i love mine, i wraped the handle bout 6 times around with ducttape and made a card board deep sheath for it, works good for cutting twine and i imagine a rabbit, next one i get im testing this thing on

I'll take one of those cutters off you hands if there still around.
Also if anyone is interested I have a winchester medium stockman, and a s&w medium trapper, neither of these is super quality but they are sharp and usable.

Also, I am putting this old FAK bag up here. I used it and depleted all the contents and now have a system that works better for me and will be posted later. Any takers?

I have a old Vic Explorer that still works well although about half of the main blade has been worn away from years of sharpening. Anyone want to give it a new home?
 
Well from what I understand it's only fitting to reciprocate with something of my own that I don't use for someone else to put to good use. Being a knife forum and all I figure a knife is acceptable.

The knife I'm putting up here is a skinner model I make but this one is an older one I made before I did some changes to the design. This is an 1/8" D2 blade, hollow ground, with wood handle scales (unknown wood, from a knifemakers stash who passed away) with brass corby bolts.

It's not the prettiest thing around and the finish isn't what I'm producing now but it is very useable and will provide lots of good service to whoever gets it..

I guess the first to post here gets the knife.
