I guys i'm not sure if this is the right place ask this but one of my friends runs a web site for his dojo and sells weapons both real and training and armor he was recently told that pay pay does not allow you to sell weapons have any of you ever heard of this or know of a way around it thanks chris

Yes that's correct.

PayPal will in time find this out and stop him from using them. they will freeze your account as well. this happened to me very recently. I was using PayPal for some time to collect payment from my customers and one day I woke up to check my emails and fill orders and I found an email from PayPal reading they closed my account and will keep it frozen till I remove everything from my site that violates their policies, by the way almost everything I sell on my site violates some policy of theirs. or, I remove PayPal from my site and all logos and so on.

needless to say I did just that and now collect payment for merchandise using another company, a company that doesn't mind us that like guns and knives and all things fun. :D

Shortly after signing up so I could buy stuff online from vendors who accept only it, I found PayPal to be an intrusve limpet that attaches itself onto your credit card and sticks its nose into all aspects of your financial life. I dropped them quickly. I opened a card with a small balance and use that for online buying.

I refuse to use paypal in any way at all. They emptied my bank account with an unauthorized charge on my unconfirmed account. And get this The chinese company which they sent my money to rturnred refunded it within 20 minutes but pay pal wouldn't return the funds. Finaly got it all straigtened out through my bank and federal authorities.

Stay away from Pay Pal they are crooks and thieves.

there is also gunpal.net I havent used it yet personally. but from what i understand it was started by a group of people, some of which run thehighroad.org a gun forum. They are gun and knife freindly

"GunPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. GunPal serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. GunPal is distinct from its competition in that it does not restrict transactions for firearms and other legal goods, instead they require that all laws be followed."

Do they consider knives as weapons? I use paypal all the time and so do most of the people I've dealt knives with. If they have a problem with knives, we all might have to drop them.

Exactly. I´ve been using Paypal for some time now without problems because it´s a fairly easy way for me to pay in foreign countries without a credit card. I didn´t even know Paypal wouldn´t allow weapon sales, but then again I´ve succesfully bought a heap of knives through Paypal without problems...

PayPal is owned by Ebay. Both are anti-gun and anti-knife.

If it wasn't for Paypal I wouldn't be in business.

Ebay is Anti-knife?!?

paypalsucksadsmrepair.com

Spam it all you want, it's a fake e-mail address. But, it's a real paypal address. Yes, they do suck, but they are great to have around.
