Paying It Forward GAW

The plan is in motion. The knife arrived today. I will get it wrapped and under the tree. I'll post some pics from Christmas morn.

BTW, after looking this knife over, if this is the typical craftsmanship put into the RR Reserve knives, I'm going to look at them a little more. The fit and finish is as good as I have on a 47 that I'm comparing it to. The backspacing is flush in all three positions, and the blade is pretty much centered in the blade well. This is a nice knife. Don't worry, it is definitely going to Samuel 😅
 
The gift proved to be the best pattern for opening present today. All of them! He used it to help the little cousins and opened all with the swayback. The wharnie shows its might in the unzipping of packing tape.....

Now a little bonus footage. The younger boy was gifted the quintessential knife for boy scouts from his Pap. A Buck Lite. Santa found a nice Apple and Oranges for him as well.....
