Paying something back GAW---- Update: Winner chosen see post #1 ---

Very generous GAW, only time I've ever won anything was about 25 years ago when I met my lovely wife, but what the heck, never too late to get lucky again right.

Please count me in. :) There are a lot of giveaways that I do not enter, but that said, I am a sucker for Case red bone knives. Thanks for your generosity!

I've been the lucky recipient of an UN-X-LD from Hunter S Thompson which I have stashed away somewhere. That was almost exactly a year ago today. And Jack Black sent me a nice little buttonhook about a year before that.

Still, I'd like this little Case, it's a pattern I think would make a good forum knife, and hard to find. Thank's for the chance.

Knife on top is the one I carried and used at high school (auto mechanics) and after school at my job at a truckstop. Broke it using it as a prybar sometime around 1972 but continued to keep it and use it as money was tight, it still functioned, and as a reminder to never do it again. Knife on bottom is a new replacement gifted me by sitflyer, Duane. Did it ever bring back memories.

Please count me in.

Excellent GAW Mike, thanks. I really wish CASE would offer the current Penknife in something other than Yellow D, the Redbone you show or Chestnut for example. I'm very tempted to join this GAW but think I'll stand aside. I won this Charlow recently in Duncan's GAW and I don't want to seem greedy. Tempted mind:D:D:D

Regards, Will.

Very generous giveaway, Mike, please count me in. I won a Winchester black box stockman from Charlie several years ago. I love that knife--very functional. My son won a Junior Scout pattern from him as well--Schatt & Morgan. He used it through Scouts, made Eagle Scout, and still uses it to this day! Recently, I won a GEC #9 from clutchcarter. Beautiful pocket jewelry!

Not an entry, having been here at BFC since the beginning I've had on occasion won giveaways. In fact in the last 2 years I've been the recipient of many gifted knives and giveaways. I'd like to thank Dan (Parke1) for the gift of this Rough Rider 118 Sunfish. For a cartoon liking knife is really quite comfortable and feels good in hand, not to mention is a big solid knife, a pattern that was around long before the overbuilt folders of today.

Thanks Dan

Mike,
this is not an entry; just stepped in to thank you for your generosity.
I do enter giveaways from time to time, and even though I never won one, I have received many gifts from fellow forumites here, and I'm about to start a giveaway myself to pay it forward :)

I also won a VCM Blackwood Santoku, but since I'm in school and can't cook much it is in my kitchen back home.

I was also given this modified opinel by jone:

Please count me in, thank you.

Well, I do believe I'm going to have to throw my hat into this one. I've never owned a Case from that era, and that one sure is a beauty!

I've been the recipient of some wonderful things there from people like Lemmy Caution, Paul Hilborn, Waynorth, and several others, but I just so happen to have this knife, a Richards sheepsfoot from Sheffield with me today. This one was a gift from our very magnanimous Jack Black, along with a penny and a wonderful book on the history of Sheffield!

Thanks for the very generous opportunity!

Please count me in! Thanks for the chance at that sweet Case penknife, Mike.
I had the good fortune of winning a peanut from a GAW sponsored by Cory Hess, and greg c sent me a Vic Electrician out of the goodness of his heart!
I carry each of these every day - wonderful knives!
I also have received fantastic information and advice from countless forum residents, either directly or just "eavesdropping" in threads here.
So much generosity!
(By the way, Chief, that's a great story and photo you posted above:thumbup:)
