I have some questions regarding paypal and I have looked over their site and I guess I'm just not finding it or they are hiding it somewhere.

I want to be able to sell off some knives and would like to be able to accept paypal. I have a personal account that I have used to pay for things but never accepted money.

What are the fees? From the for sale area here it looks like everyone tries to get 3% to cover the fees so is this what paypal charges? (I have seen some ask for 4%)

Do you have to have your bank account tied into the paypal account? Do you get a check in the mail or do you have to have an account that it is deposited in?

Anything else I should know about it or is it pretty straight forward?

I feel like I should be able to find this on the paypal site but no luck. Kinda feel silly asking this cause I'm sure its common knowledge. Thanks!

Paypal needs to be tied into your bank account and that can take 3 days to do so with verification, ie: they put money in that account and you respond back as to how much.
You get paid a few differant ways. I have the paypal card, like a debit card I get instant money when someone pays me. You can also get the money transfered to your account( 3 days) or a check with a fee. I like the card the best.
The fee is miniumal on paypal charges, closer to 2 percent.
And with paypal you can accept credit cards. Hope this helps
