No comments necessary but everyone is welcome to pile on. I know it's been said before and I've never found the need to join in. BUT........ Paypal @#$^&&$#@%&*××😈👹👺💩
 
I closed my account a while back. I've lost some sales & been declined some purchases as a result; but I don't particularly care about either.
Just out of curiosity, joeradza joeradza , are you still using their services? If so, why, if you have such strong feelings about them?

This is all about last night. I called about an unauthorized charge which they said they would investigate. After saying they needed to cancel my card, which would take 10 days to replace, I lost my mind. So, while I was on hold I transferred all my funds to my bank. A supervisor explained that my account wasn't closed. What they do is change the card number which helps me. I got the transfer fees refunded but no matter what I said, they would not send my replacement card next day air. They may be a bank but their customer service is unlike any branch I've ever been in. I don't think I'm bailing on them yet dependent on the outcome of their latest snafu. Wait & see!

Edit: The unauthorized charge was still pending and it seems by transferring all my funds I solved my own problem There wasn't enough in the account anymore for that particular charge to go through. They've lost my trust howeve, no matter what..

I tie a different credit card account to PayPal, to automatic deposits, to Amazon, etc. Then if something hinky happens it's easier to spot and I have backup if a card gets shut down. Two is one, one is none.

That is a temporary stay, at best. If their "investigation" says you owe them that money, they'll take it out of your next sale , pull it from the attached bank account, or put it on your new card.
 
PayPal isn't officially a bank. I would not trust PayPal with my money.
We have a lifetime ban from PayPal because we sell automatic knives; which is fine with me.
 
Screw PayPal....... Its nice and easy to use till it's not.......... F...k them....I only use em if I must and even then I'm pissin' n moaning' over it.😠
 
Your PayPal card is actually issued by synchnity bank (sp?) They are horrible to deal with. They are the issuer of most store cards ie Best Buy, Lowe’s ect.
 
Well I’m glad I’m not the only one having PayPal issues. I was making a non knife related purchase on a pretty major website for something extremely mundane- and they locked it on me. This is literally moments after paying off two rather large “pay it laters”. Took the money then locked up on me.

Customer service can’t do anything because it’s “automated” which should essentially mean “random” in most cases.
 
I can deal with problems and hiccups, but their customer service is terrible. When the answer is “that’s the way it is.” you know they’re lying because there is always a way to override if they want to.
