Is there any chance of upgrading using paypal anytime soon? All of my mad money is tied up in there, wifey would kill me if i used the credit card.....

you can use paypal at this time, you would have to go to this page
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/faq.php?faq=paying_membership_howto#faq_faq_paying_member_paypal
and it would take a few days for Spark to manually charge it.
