PDA's -Who's got what kind?

Palm T3 paired with a company issued Motorola V600. The Bluetooth connection equals customer and tech support on the fly. ;) My wife still uses a Clie NX70, although since I got her a V600 she has had her eye on my T3….

Which cell phone service are you using? My next toy will be a Bluetooth phone so that I can connect to the net.

I've carried a Sony Clie T665 for several years now. The Clie family have all been great machines, so I was seriously bummed when Sony announced they were dropping out of the PDA business, at least for a while. :(

I rock a Palm Tungsten W that I use as a cell phone and to also check my email and chat online. pretty kool, but slow processor.

Kyocera 7135 Palm/phone combo.

It only runs the older Palm 4.1 OS, but for me, the ability to merge a phone and PDA in a single device was the prime consideration (because of you guys I already have way too many gadgets in my pockets and on my belt). I've had it for over a year and a half, and just love it!

I use a Palm IIIxe with the accompanying folding keyboard.

As old school as it gets baby.

I have been interested in buying a Palm type device for some time. I have no idea of what to look for or where to start. I would mostly use it for downloads. I work in the medical field and go to nursing school. Can you all recommend a good one that won't break me. A friend that owns a computer shop said the Sony Clieo (spelling?) is a good one.

I think any of the Sony Clie should be fine for that. But I've heard that Sony is going to stop making PDAs, at least for a while. I'm not sure if they would still service it if there was ever a problem.
A friend has a Zire 71. It would also be a good choice IMHO.

Started out with a IIIxe, long ago... A few years ago I upgraded to an M130. Loved the color screen, altho the shape didn't really do much for me but it worked. Sadly, the M130 disentigrated on me - case seperated, the screw holders snapped, it fell apart, and when I opened it up to take a look the memory got wiped - and guess what, the damn thing had refused to sync with the computer for about two months! Lost too much data. Currenty carrying a Tungsten E that is safely stored in the aluminum case it came with. Shouldn't have any problems with THIS one falling apart for a while... And I like the power jack on the bottom, a lot easier to handle than a dock or one of those funky DC adapters I had for the M130. Still hard to beat alkalines like the IIIxe tho... Which still works fine.

And now I'm broke again... Bought an Apple iBook to keep the Tungsten company. :)
