Peanut give away

Okay. Changing my guess to match the clues given...

Second clue wouldn't have anything to so with some guy named Mike, would it?

Pattern - Swell Center Jack
Closed length - 3.75"
multi-blade or single blade and what blade style or styles - Single blade, clip point.
scale material - Ivory
steel used for blades - ATS-34
shield - Bomb

Man, looks like I was way off. :p

Edit: Forgot to mention, thanks again for the chance. Win or lose, this has been a fun thread.

This will be the last clue and then in the next couple of days I will pick a winner. This clue covers two cat. and maybe a bit more of a challenge.

NASCAR Milw. times 3

That is a tough one. I'll throw out my best guess.

The Milwaukee Mile is an oval track. Therefore I'll change my shield choice to an oval.

"times 3?" hmmmm...

This part has me stumped as I can't put anything about a NASCAR track together with a knife.

3" closed? (one mile track X 3?)

Amend my last guess to ATS-34 and an oval shield.

The last winning car was #11, so 11 X 3 = ALMOST 34 (ATS-34).

Oval shield because of the oval shape of the track.

Why not?

Pattern - dog-leg jack
Length - 3.0"
Blades - single; spearpoint
Scales - Ivory
Steel - CPM154
Shield - oval

And the winner is raydbonz !

The pattern is new for me because of the much reduced size compared to my 3 5/8 dogleg jack.

I also decided to give a second place slipjoint to Rupestris

Thanks all for playing along with this give-a-way.

If raydbonz and Rupestris could pm Me with your shipping address's I will get the knives out on Wed, snowstorm permitting.

Ken

Wow, thanks for the great contest. You really had us thinking and guessing. Would love to see pics of the completed dogleg!

Ken,

Thank you for the contest it was fun. Congrats to Raydbonz too.

As for second place, please don't worry about it. I was more interested in the clues than actually winning. :D

Great contest, thanks a lot.
This one really got me to studying the pattern.

Congrats to the lucky winner(s).

I do second Robb's request to see pics once this gem is finished - pics of the process would be fine too. :D

Thanks for the fun contest Ken!

Can't wait to see the new one when it's finished.

Ken,
Thanks for showing the little gem.I gotta say ,I'm blown away by the consistency of the perfection we're seeing in your knives.
Very nice. Someday, maybe I can get on your list.I'm finding it hard & unhealthy, these heart palpitations I'm getting every time I see your posts :D
Thanks Ken :thumbup::thumbup:,

That is a gorgeous knife. Congratulations on being able to make such wonderful works of art.

I agree with VCM3. I don't think I could describe that one without throwing in the word "Perfection".
Spear points with swedges and long pulls pretty much turn me into a deer in the headlights. I just freeze up with a slack-jawed, drooling stare on my face.

Thanks for posting pics. I'll try to look away now.

Chris

Great little knife Ken.. That's pocket jewelry if there ever was one. Thanks for posting your work much appreciated...

Thanks for the fun contest, Ken!! Sorry I missed it:(!
Very nice knife that you made!

You know, when I was little, we called guys like you a "show-off". Mainly it was 'cause we were jealous that you could do something we couldn't...:D

Beautiful little knife, the scale material really completes it.

edited to add: by the way, your photo skills are outstanding too.

thx - cpr
