Peanut vs. Tiny Trapper

I agree on the blue color...it is outstanding. I'm also not a big fan of the 'billboard' look, as you have put it, and the design on the greek key ones doesn't really grab me either. I have been looking at the mini-copperhead in the blue with the red Case logo on it, though. The blue bone is very nice looking and it seems to be a good size for a user.

On another note....I just took possession of an orange bone tiny trapper that Railsplitter was gracious enough to gift to me. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is noticeably smaller than a peanut, and the springs are a little soft, but the blades have done a good job so far whittling. I have not put it through a rigorous test, and honestly I'm going to use it more as a detail knife. I don't see myself using it to carve a tree or anything, just some little things to pass the time.

Thanks again to Railsplitter for this knife. Just another example of the kindness and fellowship of the members of this forum.

Rick, I always figured you for a stand-up type guy - very generous gesture! And congrats to you John on receiving a great little knife!

Well, then.

It doesn't get better than that, all the way 'round.
