Got the hankerin' for a small two bladed peanut folder,
looking for stag if possible and carbon blades, also needs
a sheild on one side, I searched around a little but could only
find the Case Red bone ones, any one know if there are any
stag ones out there??

Thanks in advance,
G2

ps, please post any images you have of your peanuts too, knives that is ;)
I have a 5 bladed one with blue bone that Kodiak PA sent me so many
years ago, while cool, it's far too thick to press into use or carry, but
I like the shape and lenght of the handle.

Here's a single blade in stag and damascus that was a gift from my buddy Thomason:

Nice guys, a single bladed one would be most excellent ! :)

Did you see this one I posted in another thread, Gary. Just got it the other day.

Sweet, PM heading your way,
G2

Rapid River has one in Red Stag and D2. It looks like they are trying to move them.

I posted on their forum asking for a price (as they are not listed on their website) but haven't heard back yet. I'll drop 'em an e-mail tomorrow to see what they're asking.

This is a pic they posted and it obviously needs to be cleaned up but you get the idea.

I'm pretty sure these are manufactured by Queen. I handled a Rapid River copperhead pattern and if it wasn't made by Queen I'll eat my boots. I'd love to snag one of these by the way. I'll be calling tomorrow. :)

Here is a couple of shots taken tonight of that 5 bladed peanut;

it makes a wide knife for sure, use it sometimes when working on sheaths but usually
sits in the drawer,

Thats what I was thinking morrowj. That or Northwoods but NW doesn't list anything like it.

The RR is stamped Rapid River and 2008. If you give them a call tomorrow and its not too much to ask, let me know what they say. Thanks.

It is certainly not too much to ask. I'll call tomorrow and let you know what they say.

The top nut in my bag of peanuts. Joel Chamblin

Rob...99% of the time I genuinely like you. This is a 1% percent situation. Geez...look at that thing. Are you sure you deserve that knife? :p

This is the only kind 'a 'nut I have right now, I got two of 'em though.

That's a gem Rob.

Peter, at your age I'm relieved to hear that. ;) :p
Thought something like that would come up, didn't expect it that fast though.
Thanks for not disappointing me Elliott :p:thumbup:
Now lets get back to the peanut, the knife that is. :D
