Pearl Harbor 1941

Thank you to all that have and will serve.

Plus a little extra special Love for our fellow Hog's that are also Veterans. I know there are many of you:thumbup:

Ironically I work for a Japanese owned company and the big wigs are coming today from Japan, so we will have our Japanese flag flying right next to the stars and stripes.

Awesome. Me and my Japanese girlfriend always celebrate Pearl Harbor day, with tongue in cheek and a glass of good single-malt (we Irish and Japanese seem to have a similar sense of humor)...

We didnt defeat the Japanese because we built a better bomb than them. We defeated them because we finally hated them enough to drop it. We're still looking for that level of resolve after 9/11, I hope we find it sometime soon.

Yay! Go hate! Nuke 'em all! Once everyone's dead, we will finally have some peace and quiet and an end to all this rediculous violence that causes so much grief and pain and suffering and wastes so much of the world's natural resources - why, without people the fossil fuels will be replenished (by our bodies), the air pollution will stop, the ozone layer will heal, global warming will end... It will be like the garden of eden again (as long as the nuclear winter theory is wrong - it never made all that much sense to me anyway...)
Well, the point is, we defeated the Japanese, on account of how they murdered six million jewish people in Poland and Germany and... um, yeah, that was Japan, right? Pesky Japanese. I mean, not anymore, because now we're allies, so of couse it's all good. Politics and history and stuff are confusisng. It's so much easier to just shave your head and nuke the world. Let's have a sing-along, "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, Über alles in der Welt..."!

Been there three times, twice as master helmsman of a 90,000 ton aircraft carrier, I have never experienced anything like it. If you ever get the chance go to the Arizona Memorial, the waters run deep.

As a veteran of Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan and a year in Israel during one of their wars I can attest that hate plays a valuable role in war. You can’t win without it, and the trophy for second place is in the graveyard. For the current wars Bin Laden called it; us or him, I vote for us.

I got a new computer and I am so glad I can finally see Skunks post!

I don't like getting sucker punched regardless of circumstances. Period.

I hate being in a fight with my hands tied. War is war and the consequences are severe.
