Lets take a momement from the excitement of the new release and our busy days to remember the 2402 lives lost this day in 1941

As my dad would call it " Slap a --- Day "

Edit:
Sorry, just trying to lighten the topic.
Cost me a warning.
This is what I get for letting my dad hang out
at the VFW.

Yes, agreed wholeheartedly, Pearl Harbor will never be forgotten in our family.

Never forgotten; it's what caused my Dad to join the Navy after he finighed High School.

Peral Harbor was my Grandfathers 9-11. Neither day will ever be forgotten and the day they are will be a sad day indeed. God bless America.

My Grandfather was a WWII vet and I can tell you til the day he died he never got over Pearl Harbor. If for no other reason than that I will make sure my children learn about it. It really is a shame that we are running low on the members of the Greatest Generation. Someday soon they will be gone and I hope that we never let their sacrafices fade into a forgotten book somewhere.

I raise my glass to the brave Americans who lost their lives on this day 71 years ago................. SALUTE... May you never be forgotten......

And to those who have served this GREAT country sense then.

My Grandfather was a survivor from the West Virginia and later in WWII, he was a survivor from the Liscombe Bay. To the day he died, it was a subject that he would not talk about.

My father joined the navy right after the attack . . . . . . . He never could talk about Pearl Harbor without getting so angry that his eyes would well up.

Our thoughts and prayers go out in grateful remembrance to the many who died on that day and to all who have served,

Jerry and crew

My Grandfather was also a WWII vet. Though he was stationed in Alaska through most of the war he still had a very hard time talking about it. Most of the time he would just get up and leave until the conversation was over.

Truly a day to remember. Unfortunately, it seems like this year it wasn't so well remembered in the media.
