Not sure if this is the right place for this ?
I am putting together a knife (toothpick) and I cant get the blade to set straight.
Even with the pivot pin loose it still close to the left, I've tried 7 or 8 pivot pins and even 2 other blades. Peening one side then the other to make it go straight hasn't worked. any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Its Queen Toothpick ( switchblade ) the holes in the bolsters and Liners look straight, I have put together a few of them but this one I cant make it set right. the kick spring isn't in it yet and neither is the release mechanism.
So right now its just a folder.
Thank you

Well, is it possible that the pivot pin areas of the blade are not parallel to each other, or the grind of the blade is off to one side? Getting more involved can one liner be just a hair out of being in the same forward position as the other? Hope you get this worked out. Frank

I laid the blade down flat and it lies flat on one side when I turn it over it doesnt lie flat so I guess the blades off. All 3 blades do the same thing to some degree.
Gee Ive been driving myself nuts trying to get it right and it was the blade.Guess I will look at the blades from now on before I put them in. Thanks for the help I appreciate it.
