peening mosaic pins?

How do you do that without mashing up the pattern? Or do you just epoxy them into place and skip the peening?

just clean scuff and set

Mosaic rivets are decorative. Just roughen the sides and glue in place. The ends get sanded smooth and polished along with the scales.

Yea, you dont want to peen. you can ream to a half thou undersize and press fit though.
