I'm quite fond of the smaller spyders and have tried to accumulate most of the smaller models. I have never seen a Pegasus for sale anywhere (in the year or so I've been looking). Other than a picture or two, I haven't even really seen any talk about them either. What gives?

Are they well liked? How long and when were they commercially available? Any info on these knives?

They look nice, like a slightly smaller version of a Navigator or Meerkat.

They were very short lived. Think the Navigator, brought out at about the same time, had a bit better ergonomics. The Navigator handle is just slightly longer, and that, plus the concave curve at its rear which gives your pinky something to grip, makes it feel better in the hand than the shorter, convex curved handle of the Pegausus. The extra bit of blade may have helped make it more popular as well.

I've been trying to locate a Pegasus for years and haven't come across one. I saw one on eBay but it was pretty beat up and passed on it.
