peir fishing, bass fishing w a "buddy"....

started the day fishing the north end of the skyway w a buddy... a few pins and had some fun with this spanish mack....

wrapped up there about noon or one and headed out to spearfish some gar with my uber taciticool cool aid drinking mall ninja fish spear.... lol

but when i got there i couldn't sit down and finish the wrap on the spear as the bass were hunting the banks and driving me crazy...

as i was fighting him i found out i was sharing the fishing hole with this guy..... srry it's a phone pic... joe ill get better ones for you next time... i forgot the camera... and the paddles for the canoe... good thing i felt like pole fishing... lol

he jumped about four feet from me and disappeared into the channel.... its was fun playing wheres the gator... i snuck up on him for the pic, but it turned out like crap....

nice surprize when "the old flexable kitchen knife in the drawer" turns out to be a Vic!!!!

I hope that bass is not too strong. It looks like you left the red strip in the middle of the fillets. Next time cut all the red out and see if you notice a difference.

the red strip was from the mak... the bass was all pink, both were awesome.. thx for the tip

Yup.
We usually leave the dark meat on & just not eat it.
One can really mess up a fillet trying to get the dark meat off, raw.
