Anybody know when this is going to come out??

I have one of the Enzo Birk folders and like it a lot but this one looks a bit bigger and the handle more ergonomic!

Yeah if it has pretty much a full flat grind it should be an incredible cutter and I love the handle shape.

So what length is the blade?

Not many right handed only knives that this left-hander will buy but this one will be one of the few.

Maybe the best out-of-the-box cutter in Spyderco's lineup? I want one.

Just checked it out, that's one great looking slicer. Will definitely be on the lookout for this one!

What we call a scandi grind is mostly like your Helle pic or the pic of the second folder in my pic.

However actual scandinavian knives have a lot of difft grinds from a "scandi grind" with a secondary to full flat grinds to almost full flat grinds with the rhombic profile like this puronvarsi.

But what makes scandi grinds popular with most who like them is that they have a really fine edge and cut really deep. So a full flat grind with no or very little secondary bevel still preserves what most people like about them.

I love zero grinds, and I love folder designs where the blade fits entirely into the handle. This one is going to be a home run for me.

In stock Oct. 11 (at least according to Howe's...)! Get your credit cards ready! (mine is...ahahah)

I hate to say it, but does this one seem a wee bit too expensive for what it is? I'm assuming that the zero grind/beadblasted G10 might add to the costs, but still. Oh well, I don't mind paying for the design :p

From Wouter's picture, it looks like a full flat zero bevel, but there may be a very small edge bevel. It may be a trick of the light.

This might be a pain to sharpen because you'd have to grind/polish the entire blade. Am I missing something?
